Stuart O'Grady and Nathan Eagleton can take a breath after the doors to The Velo Precinct open in Adelaide city. Set within a heritage listed grandstand within Victoria Park - the cafe will offer more than just coffee to the bustling cycling community in Adelaide.
We took a sneak peak before the doors opened, as Stuey and Nathan ran around managing the finishing touches. We got some insight into the space from Nathan: 'We have the capacity to sit 60 people within the cafe and will offer even more seated space outside.' said Eagleton.
The heritage building is a great backdrop for foodies, fitness goers and cyclists alike. The main entrance of the cafe itself is parallel to the finish line for the local criterium races. 'It might be a race to finish to head to the bar to grab a refreshing ale' quipped Nathan.
It promises to be an equally impressive place for food with sliders and antipasto on offer. Parents can take a break and enjoy a local Coopers Ale - the indoor childrens playground looks set to keep the young ones entertained for hours!
