When creating the XCr, the intent was to have a steel frame that was capable of racing.
By achieving this, Festka has created a frame that is nimble and lively, yet retains the
durable qualities of Columbus XCr steel.
Festka sourced a new line of molded tubes that push the limits of traditional steel tubing.
The timeless design incorporates modern elements including tapered forks, the latest
bottom bracket standards and is optimized for electronic shifting.
Its handling and ability to cope with varied surfaces has become commonplace. This
surprises many new riders given it maintains the stiffness expected in a steel frame.
The combination of steel and modern carbon components forms an attractive machine
that aspires to become a timeless piece, sporting a sophisticated look.
In 2017, the XCr and Asphalt frames have limited production. Contact us for details.
